What this energy is
Chou is frozen earth. Slow on the outside, but it conceals Xin metal — it endures and then collects the result.

- It attaches to the storehouse branches. Strength appears in solitary immersion, and it is also read as a star of solitude.
- Revealed (透出)A hidden stem appearing in the heavenly stems
- A stem concealed inside a branch also showing at stem level. Structures are judged clear or mixed depending on whether the month branch’s main energy is revealed.
